Membership 會籍
The Association, for the purpose of registration, is declared to consist of 1,000 members but the Council of the Association may from time to time register an increase of members.
The Association is established for the purposes expressed in the Memorandum of Association.
Members of the Association may be of any nationality and shall be of the following kinds:
醫學會註冊之初公佈會員人數有一千人，而醫學會會董會可不時加註新會員。
在醫學會的憲章上明確表明了醫學會的成立目的。
醫學會的會員不限國籍，有以下幾種：
Life Members 永久會員
| 1. | Any person who is eligible to become a Regular Member of the Association shall be eligible to become a Life Member of the Association. |
| 2. | Any person who has become a Regular Member and has been paying the subscription for Regular Membership continuously for not less than 40 years shall be eligible to become a Life Member of the Association without payment of the prescribed fee. |
| 一. | 有資格成為醫學會正式會員的任何人士均有資格成為醫學會的終身會員。 |
| 二. | 已成為正式會員且不間斷繳付正式會員費不少於40年的任何人士，均有資格成為醫學會的終身會員，且無需繳付指定費用。 |
Regular Members 普通會員
| 1. | Any person who has been registered under section 14 of the Medical Registration Ordinance Cap. 161 and |
| 2. | Any person who has been a Fraternity Member of the Association for no less than one year and who has ordinarily resided and lawfully practiced medicine continuously in Hong Kong for no less than 21 years immediately before applying for Regular Membership shall be eligible to become a Regular Member of the Association. |
| 一. | 根據《醫生註冊條例》第161章第14節註冊的任何人士及 |
| 二. | 已成為醫學會友好會員不少於一年、且在申請正式會員之前已在香港居住、並成為合法執業醫生不少於21年之人士合資格申請成為醫學會的正式會員。 |
Associate Members 準會員
Any person who has been provisionally registered under section 12 but have not been registered under section 14 shall be eligible to become an Association Member of the Association.
已根據第12節暫時註冊但未根據第14節註冊的任何人士均有資格成為醫學會的準會員。
Student Members 學生會員
All student pursuing a degree of medicine and surgery in the Medical Faculty of the University of Hong Kong or the Medical Faculty of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, is eligible to apply for temporary membership of the Hong Kong Medical Association.
所有香港大學或中文大學之醫科學生均有資格成為醫學會的學生會員。
Honorary Members 榮譽會員
Any person who has rendered outstanding service to the Association or for the furtherance of the medical science, or upon recommendation of the Council, may be elected by the Council to become an Honorary Member of the Association.
對醫學會或為醫學科學作出傑出貢獻、或經會董會推薦的任何人士，可由會董會推選成為醫學會的名譽會員。
Fraternity Members 友好會員
Any person who has been registered under section 14A of the Medical Registration Ordinance Cap. 161 shall be eligible to become a Fraternity Member of the Association.
根據《醫生註冊條例》第161章第14A節註冊的任何人士均有資格成為醫學會的友好會員。
Visiting Members 訪問會員
A medical graduate from abroad on a visit to Hong Kong shall be eligible to become a Visiting Member of the Association.
訪港的國外醫學專業畢業生可有資格成為醫學會的訪問會員。
