世界免疫周
世界衞生組織將4月24日至30日訂為世界免疫周，以「人人長壽」為主題，鼓勵世界各地所有年齡層的人士接種疫苗。細菌和病毒無處不在，唯有接種有效的疫苗，才可以避免患上疫苗可預防的疾病，活得健康長壽1。
香港醫學會亦藉著是次世界免疫周，呼籲尚未接種或未完成接種新冠疫苗的市民，特別是長者和兒童，一同響應世界免疫周，盡快預約接種疫苗，保障個人和家人的健康外，同時為下一波疫情做好預防的準備。
香港醫學會將於稍後推出推廣成人疫苗接種的計劃，提供更多有關疫苗可預防的疾病的資訊，詳情請留意本會的公佈。

World Immunization Week
24 – 30 April is the World Immunization Week designated by the World Health Organization. This year, the Week is themed with “Long Life for All”, to encourage people of all ages across countries, to get vaccinated. Gems and viruses are all around us, only with effective vaccination, we can stay away with the preventable diseases and prolong our lives1.
The Hong Kong Medical Association would like to take this opportunity to urge those who have not been vaccinated or not yet completed their vaccination schedule of COVID-19, especially elderly and children, to complete their vaccination as soon as possible, so that they are well-protected and well-prepared for the next pandemic wave.
The Hong Kong Medical Association will launch a new campaign on adult immunization shortly. We will provide more information about vaccine-preventable diseases through the campaign. Stay tune with us for further announcement.
