新型冠狀病毒的發展

現時新型冠狀病毒的發展迅速，全球多個國家亦陸續出現確診個案，相信在農曆新年假期後，本港疫情會更為嚴峻。為保障香港市民健康，香港醫學會促請香港政府進一步收緊入境政策，各出入境口岸，應加強力度，以任何可行方法有效阻止疫區人士進入香港。

另外，從疫區回港、或曾與可疑患者或來自疫區人士接觸的市民，亦應自行在家隔離14天。家居隔離應戴口罩，避免外出，注意個人衛生，避免交叉感染。

本會亦關注現時市面上口罩供應短缺，市民及私家醫生均一罩難求，嚴重影響防疫成效。因此我們促請政府發放部分口罩及個人保護裝備的儲備，以解燃眉之急，直至供應回復正常。
