醫生的口罩供應

Mask Supply for the Medical Profession

新型冠狀病毒的疫情日益嚴竣，全港口罩供應極為短缺，私家醫生因口罩不足而影響診症服務，有診所因此要停業。香港醫學會早前獲食物衛生局答允從政府訂購的一批外科口罩中，撥出600盒共30,000個予本會會員購買，以解燃眉之急。本會已收到該批泰國生產的口罩，並以來貨價港幣170元售予成功申請的會員，醫學會當中並未加收任何費用。由於反應熱烈，逾千醫生申請購買，最後由1,181名合資格會員中以抽籤方式選出600位，將於今日開始一連3日發貨。

香港醫學會會長何仲平表示，留意因新型冠狀病毒可能已潛伏於社區，有私家醫生因缺乏保護裝備，應診風險大而停診。為協助私家醫生維持對有需要市民的服務，醫學會除了向政府大力爭取外，亦循不同渠道購入口罩。日內會與其他醫學組織合作，分發25,000個來自南韓的KF94/N95級別口罩予私家診所執業的會員，每人可獲5個。除此之外，香港醫學會亦已向不同生產商洽購不同級別的口罩，雖然相對龐大的需求仍會不夠，但總勝於讓私家醫生被迫停業，令公營醫療體系更加百上加斤。
