香港醫學會會長蔡堅醫生日前證實感染新冠病毒。現時在家療養，情況穩定。
蔡醫生於疫情期間，一直在診所為病人診治，包括發燒病人及有上呼吸道感染病徵病人，估計因此染疫。
蔡會長希望市民知道並體諒，他自己及一眾前線醫護，特別是公院前線醫護，都在有限資源下，緊守崗位，與大家同心抗疫。
蔡醫生亦希望各位體諒個別醫護的情況。他自己留家期間，仍然會與鄭志文醫生主理「抗疫行動組」事務。並於「醫學會支援訊息站」為留家抗疫市民解答醫學問題。
蔡醫生為各位醫護打氣，並承諾康復後，立即回到前線診所，繼續同心抗疫。
